Norwich City vs West Ham United
Analysis
So after our fourth goalless draw of the season, we travel to a side that have conceded 20 and scored just 6 goals so far in this Premier League season.
Our away form this season has been much improved after last years, whilst Norwich City have won just one home game this season, back in August against Southampton.
Part of the reason for Norwich's poor start to the season is down to defensive errors.
Nobody has made more errors leading to attempts on goal this season than the Canaries England goalkeeper John Ruddy (4, with two leading directly to goals).
But on top of the goalkeeper's errors, Norwich's Martin Olsson, Sebastien Bassong and Alexander Tettey have made a further five errors leading to shots on goal between them, with three of those resulting in goals conceded.
This means 25% of the goals conceded by Norwich this season have come directly from errors made by their own players.
But it is not just at the back that Norwich have been struggling.
Despite brining in more than £10million pounds worth of striking talent (van Wolfwinkel - £8.3m, Hooper - £5m, Elmander - loan) Norwich have currently scored the joint fewest goals in the division, alongside Crystal Palace.
And between them, their three new forwards have managed just one Premier League goal - van Wolfswinkel's debut goal back in August.
van Wolswinkel has been ruled out of Saturday evenings game, meaning either Elmander or Hooper will lead the line against James Tomkins and James Collins.
So far this season, in a combined 567 minutes Hooper and Elmander have managed just four shots on target. Displaying just how much trouble the Canaries are having with not only scoring goals, but even getting shots away.
The following images show, firstly, Hooper's attempts on goal, and then Elmander's.

But Norwich do possess some dangermen.
Young winger Nathan Redmond is in line to return to the side tomorrow, and he will pose a real threat to our fullbacks.
In 8 appearances this season, the England Under 21 winger has created 6 chances, completed 18 successful take ons, and has attempted 14 shots on goal - with 50% of those hitting the target.
Arguably his best performance this season came against Southampton.
Redmond completed 3 out of 5 attempted take ons, created two chances, had a pass success rate of 82%, and bagged his first Premier League goal.
The image below shows the wingers heat map from that game against Southampton. What is clear is that Redmond is a true winger. He rarely drifted from the left wing, and you can see the vast majority of his involvement in the game came in the attacking third.

With the absence of Winston Reid, West Ham's back line will be changed for the first time in five games. How we cope with the New Zealand captain's absence will go a long way in determining the result to this game.
In Norwich we face a side low on confidence following a 7 goal thrashing last weekend.
Let's hope we can take advantage of that to record just our third win of the season...
